Serdang BC recorded a straight sets win of their own as their Chinese Taipei mixed doubles pair of Chen Hsiao Huan and Lu Ching Yao put in a comprehensive display to beat Kepong BC’s Ng Wing Yung and Goh Soon Huat 3-0 (11-9, 11-6, 11-6).

Leong Jun Hao continued his impressive early season form as the Serdang BC player beat Kepong BC’s Thongnuam Pannawit 3-1 (11-9, 11-7, 10-11, 11-9) in the last match to ensure his team finish the game on a positive note.

"I hope that my players will continue to improve their game as we will be facing even tougher opponents in the coming matches. Today we were lucky as we managed to win the men's doubles match to secure the victory despite losing our last two matches," said Kepong BC's Mohd Zakry Abdul Latif.

"For the next few games, I might need to make some adjustments to the lineup especially our mixed doubles pairing because we aim to qualify for the Grand Finals as one of the best six teams," added Zakry.
